Your tasks
- Definition of tool concepts for plastic injection molding tools
- Creation of overall designs, parts lists and individual part drawings using 2D/3D CAD Creo modeling as well as
adjustments to tool designs - Calculation of new injection molding tools, tool modifications and customer enquiries
- Developing and evaluating information on technical innovations and coordinating the introduction of
complex technologies with the internal interfaces - Selecting, coordinating and supporting external tool suppliers, designers and injection moulding service
providers as well as the associated initial sampling, optimization discussions and tool approvals - Close cooperation on site with the Vossloh-Schwabe Tooling tool shop
- Coordination of tool design with the internal project management and development team
- Support with project coordination and customer visits and discussions
- Advising customers on tooling issues and preparing feasibility studies
- Supporting and advising our Serbian site on injection molds
Your profile
- Completed technical training as a tool mechanic in the plastics sector or comparable
- Further training as a technician or product designer in the field of tool design
- Very good knowledge of 2D/3D CAD Creo Elements and confident handling of MS Office applications
- Structured and independent way of working as well as a strong awareness of quality and costs
- Leadership qualities and enjoy working in a team
- Business fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel to our (inter)national locations, suppliers, customers and trade fairs
